If you are strongly motivated to improve your fitness level and develop healthy workout habits, this course is for you. It is designed to improve physical fitness through power walking, high/low impact aerobics, step aerobics, self defence, circuit training, running, resistance training, and large and small group games.
Healthy lifestyle choices and total fitness are the focus of the theory component. Fitness and training principles are some areas which will be explored.
Comfortable exercise attire is required. On occasion, outdoor clothing will be necessary. Each student is encouraged to bring water to class.
This course is largely based on your participation and you are expected to change into the proper uniform and participate to the best of your ability on a daily basis. If you are not feeling 100%, you must still change and participate to the best of your ability. If you do not change you will be given zero for participation on that day.
GOOD ATTENDANCE, DAILY EFFORT AND PARTICIPATION, PUNCTUALITY AND PROPER UNIFORM ARE THE KEYS TO SUCCESS IN THIS COURSE.
